Best For...

The Plus version of the JetBlue cards offers the highest rewards for JetBlue travel plus a sign-up bonus, anniversary bonus, and the ability to earn Mosaic benefits.

Review of the The JetBlue Plus Card

As compared to the basic JetBlue Card, The JetBlue Plus Card offers twice as many points for JetBlue purchases (6x vs. 3X), a sign-up bonus that is 4X bigger (40,000 vs. 10,000 points), an additional 5,000 anniversary bonus, free checked bags, and the ability to earn Mosaic benefits. With these added rewards and benefits, if you fly JetBlue at least once a year it is well worth the added $99 annual fee. As compared to other airline cards, JetBlue offers fewer travel perks, but the trade-off is a bigger savings on flights.

The Bottom Line

This card is a best bet for frequent JetBlue travelers who are willing to sacrifice a few perks for greater savings.

A: The checked bag benefit applies to the first checked bag for the cardholder and up to 3 companions on the same reservation when flying JetBlue operated flights, if you’ve used your JetBlue Plus Card to purchase the ticket.
