Best For...
This no-annual fee card offers a combination of a 0% APR for 15 months (good for balance transfers) and decent rewards on dining and entertainment purchases.

Review of the Citi ThankYou Preferred Card

With the no-annual fee Citi ThankYou Preferred Card you'll earn 2X ThankYou® Points on dining and entertainment and 1X points on everything else. ThankYou® Points can be redeemed for a selection of restaurant and retail gift cards, merchandise, Amazon.com purchases, BestBuy.com purchases, JetBlue travel and more.  

In addition to earning rewards, this card offers 0% APR for 15 months on balance transfers and purchases. Keep in mind however, that a balance transfer fee of $5 or 3% of the amount transfered (whichever is greater) will apply. So, if you're transferring a large balance, the savings could be negated by this fee.




The Bottom Line
This no-annual fee card is good for balance transfers and earning modest rewards on dining and entertainment, but limited redemption options are a draw-back.
